April 5, 2005

Norwegian thrashers DEAD TROOPER have released two clips from their upcoming EP, "Spiritual Funeral", at their official web site. The songs are being described by the band as "a mix of SLAYER and old SEPULTURA, with death metal influences."

DEAD TROOPER, who recently spilt with their bass player of two years, Andreas, will make their next live appearance on April 11 at Rock In in Oslo. Also scheduled to perform on the bill are DEJECT.

As previously reported, JUJ — the project featuring DEAD TROOPER members Are and Birger alongside SUSPERIA vocalist Athera — are planning on recording some new material soon. No further information is available at this time.
